World Day for Safety and Health at Work

This year, the leading theme for the World Day for Safety and Health at Work chosen by the International Labor Organization is:
A safe and healthy working environment is a fundamental principle and right at work.

Part of our team spent an intensive time on the pre-medical first aid course using the knowledge and experience of the Professional Association of Medical Rescuers "Medyk".

Under the watchful eye of professionals, our employees practiced with the phantom and learned how to use the AED defibrillator. The training also covered topics such as:🔸 Proceedings in case of choking, learning the Heimlich maneuver, stopping hemorrhages and learning how to use appropriate dressings for various types of injuries.
🔸 Discussion of the most common body injuries - fractures and sprains.
🔸 Proceedings with foreign bodies in the body and the method of protection.
🔸 Legal responsibility for failure to provide assistance to the injured.
🔸 How to call an ambulance for accidents (tel. emergency, what information to provide to the dispatcher, etc.) and ensure the safety of yourself and the injured person.
We gain experience and skills.
